Matt Dolson puts on a hat and heavy jacket - covering all exposed skin - before he steps into the Florida summer heat. He only has to walk about 100 yards from his front door to stand in the place where, three months ago, an explosion nearly killed him.
His recently grafted skin is more sensitive than a newborn's and constricts his limbs in a restrictive embrace.

Students are charging their peers too much for ticketsI'd like to say how appalled I am by the way University students are treating each other when it comes to tickets. I had planned on supporting the team by attending every game this season. However, this may not be possible since I did not receive tickets to all of the games.

Upset sophomores and juniors sounded off on Facebook, in letters and via telephone calls Sunday after discovering they were awarded a split football season ticket package.
"I'm frustrated with the Athletic Association," Will Brown, a sophomore from Roswell, said.

Being a USF football fan isn't for the fair-weathered or the indecisive. At least, not if that fan is a student hoping to get into Raymond James Stadium for free come game day. With the launch of the University's online ticketing system this fall, students will have to apply early to receive tickets to each home football game and prepare to be punished if they opt out of using them.

Having already toppled every college football poll in the land, coach Mark Richt has decided to take on another challenge - bowling. Richt, an avid bowler, is starting his "Coach Richt Bowling Challenge" on Thursday, and everybody's invited. "If anyone's looking for a place to have fun without having to put alcohol to their lips, then this is their place," he said.

During the summer break, nine incidents of auto entry occurred on Armstrong's campus, and on Aug. 10, Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) arrested a suspect in connection with the crimes.
The suspect, Eddie Williams, is also implicated in an alleged attempted murder during a robbery of a cab driver in Louisiana on June 16.

The long-awaited sushi bar on the third floor of the UCC opened for business last week. Sushi is always hit or miss.
